I was busy yesterday evening scanning some The Horrors singles and adding them to the website including I Can See Through You (3 different releases), Changing The Rain and So Now You Know which was issued in March this year. Only 6 more single releases are now missing which I hope to add in the next few days.

hr GMTWhat a great album! I have not yet detected any fillers. It might be even better than their second album Primary Colours! Yep, I'm talking about The Horrors' latest effort called Luminous. It contains 10 solid tracks. Japan is once again lucky as they get 2 bonus tracks. This update features this Japanese release including scans. Happy listening!

hr GMTLast one for tonight. This is a nice Japanese CD edition for The Horrors' album Strange House. It comes with some extra bonus tracks.

As promised two days ago, I started to add some older The Horrors releases to the website. The first ones are the 7" and a promo CDr for Sheena Is A Parasite, their debut single, and the first part of the 2-set 7" for Gloves, completing the overview of all sleeves for this single. More should be added later tonight!

hr GMTReleased in December 2013, though I didn't order it until a few weeks ago, this is Vile Electrodes' The Ghosts Of Christmas EP which comes in a nice numbered and signed cardsleeve.

hr GMTThink it is time to work on a large The Horrors update anytime soon. Their 4th album will be released on May 5th, promos recently started to surface for the first new single and I received four new items in the past few weeks. Quite some older singles also still need to be added here. In other words: watch this space!

hr GMTI had this on my mind for a long time already. Adding a so-called carousel to the main page where multiple photos of some items from my collection are featured instead of just one and yesterday I decided to go for it. With the help of Pim from the Netherlands it came together nicely and better than I was hoping for. A few minor things still might need to be tweaked, but nothing major. Thx once again for the help Pim!

hr GMTRemember how surprised I was last year when an unseen Mirrors promo hit the internet? Well, it happened again and, by coincidence, for the same single! Last year it was a Dutch CDr promo for Into The Heart, today it is a variant of the (common) UK promo CD which comes with full artwork versus a white disc with minimum artwork.

The Darkness released some stuff last year which I never added to the website (what was I thinking!?). Releases that have been added today are Christmas Time, the 2013 re-recording which was issued as a single, The Horn, a brand new track released as a single and Extra Hot Cakes Yuletide Edition which is Hot Cakes plus a bunch of extra (previously unreleased) tracks.
2014-02-02 – 16:03
hr GMTAnother release which I never added until today: Mumm-Ra's Technicolour which was a digital single, released in April 2013 through good old BandCamp.
2014-02-02 – 15:44
hr GMTAutomatic Writing released their first debut EP digitally last year November called Introduction To Floating. I however never added it to the website until today.

hr GMTWe can expect a new digital EP from Lovelife as of February 4th. You can check the details and the artwork over here! The EP will be called Feel and is going to feature four recordings.

Here we go, the first update for 2014 which is for Lovelife. I've made scans of their latest 10" EP called Stateless tonight including the regular (but limited) commercial release plus a white label test pressing (probably limited to 5 copies). Enjoy!
2014-01-07 – 20:03
hr GMTIt's been almost two months since the last update. Life's been busy and sometimes I was just lazy. I will kick off the New Year with a nice photo of a 12" that was released last month. Updates of featured artists will follow in the next few weeks including Lovelife, Vile Electrodes, Automatic Writing, Mumm-Ra and The Darkness.

Two miscellaneous releases for Lovelife tonight! The first one was a CD EP issued in April this year called MMXIII and was for sale during a short US tour. The second release was released only one month later on lovely vinyl, being a split 7" with The Neighbourhood with the tracks West Coast/Every Minute.

宇宙戦隊NOIZ released their latest single called ライカ two days ago in Japan which is the last single of their five month single campaign. The best was probably kept for last since this is arguably the best of the five singles. It once again comes as two different editions, each one containing a DVD. The big question now is: what's next? Can we maybe expect an album anytime soon?
2013-10-18 – 20:06
hr GMTI already got this item somewhere last week, but didn't felt like scanning and updating the website until now. This is a promotional CD copy of Lovelife's latest EP Stateless. Besides the unique radio edit that can be found on the disc it also comes in a slightly alternate sleeve!

The fourth single in a serie of five was released on the 9th of October by 宇宙戦隊NOIZ. This new single is called One Order and there are once again two different editions with different artwork and different contents on each DVD. It also seems that the Japanese shop Brand X is giving away a unique (hand-made) DVD with each order which features a short message by the band.

hr GMTIn case you missed it: Lovelife issued a new EP last week Monday called Stateless. You can buy the digital release right now but need to wait another five weeks before the 10" vinyl disc is released. Until then you can read all the details here about this new release, including info about a promotional copy and the initial, scrapped, release!

In case you didn't know yet... Vile Electrodes released their debut album after it's been in the making for nearly 100 years! Aptly called The Future Through A Lens, it is a stunning debut, making you want to hit the play button over and over again. The album comes as four different editions: digital, CD and two different deluxe CD editions. Check the album page for all the details. A fun fact is that the digital and CD release are different!
