We Are Here

Release date:

Their first album which was first released digitally in February 2010. It was later released as a CD/DVD combo, in a deluxe box and on vinyl.

Prior to the release of this album, the band released sort pieces of music, typically lasting just under or a bit over 1 minute. Known songs are:

  • 090909
  • birthofapparatjik: a short mash-up of Electric Eye
  • Flum: contains fragments of Supersonic Sound, Arrow And Bow and 4 Can Keep A Secret…
  • kijtarappaeraew: birthofapparatjik reversed
  • self-torturers: a short mash-up of Arrow And Bow

The band released an alternate version of Snow Crystals prior to the album’s release which lacks backing vocals, is less produced, has a rougher overall sound and has an alternate ending.

Was It You? is an otherwise unreleased song which didn’t end up on the album, lasting over 5 minutes. I don’t recollect its origin, when or why it was released.

A deluxe box set called Bolshevik Box was released on the 27th of July 2010. Two pressings were made.

The first pressing was limited to 200 copies and contains a signed art print of which eight different versions are available. Each print was limited and numbered to just 25 copies, making this edition limited to 200 copies. The box also contains the album on CD, DVD plus a unique red vinyl copy of the album.

The second pressing has the same musical contents, although it contains a large poster instead of an art print.

The box is a sturdy 12″x12″ slipcase. It contains a wallet with the art print and a thick high quality folded carton insert which houses the LP on the left and the CD and DVD on the right.
