Release date:
This is a single for a non-album track. It was however a bonus track on the Japanese edition of Primary Colours.
7″ release
Cat. nbr.: XL Recordings – XLS 468
Track listing:
Side A
- Whole New Way (Single Mix)
Side B
- Primary Colours
The version of Whole New Way on this 7″ (and also the digital release) is a different and shorter mix when compared to the Japanese album version. It is beyond me why the band decided to release a non-album song as a single.
The artwork does not mention anywhere that the A-side is a remix or alternate version.
Digital release
Cat. nbr.: XL Recordings – unknown
Track listing:
- Whole New Way (Single Mix)
Spotify Digital release
Cat. nbr.: XL Recordings – unknown
Track listing:
- Whole New Way (Single Mix)
The song can be heard through Spotify where it features alternate artwork for an unknown reason.
Promotional CDr release
Cat. nbr.: XL Recordings – none
Track listing:
- Whole New Way (Single Mix) (Edit)
A promotional CDr exists from the UK which comes in a plastic sleeve with a printed insert. It features an edit of the single mix.
US Promotional CD release
Cat. nbr.: XL Recordings – none
Track listing:
- Whole New Way (Single Mix) (US Edit)
- Do You Remember
The US had a promotional CD in a jewel case with no front sleeve. This promo features a different edit of the single mix and has a few subtle differences in the mix as well, meaning there are four different versions of this song (album version, single mix, UK promo mix and US promo mix)!
Promotional DVDr release
Cat. nbr.: XL Recordings – none
Track listing:
- Whole New Way (Single Mix) (Edit)
A promotional DVDr exists which contains the video for this single. The disc comes in a plastic sleeve without any artwork.
